Terrible service, average food. They seem more concerned about the takeout and deliveries than taking care of the patrons in the restaurant. Not recommended.

The food is great, portions large, and price low. But the lady at the till seems ... um.. curt? I dont know if she's rude or just short and to the point like The Wolf on Pulp Fiction. I'm not offended by it, it's pretty funny and I keep going back hoping that one day she'll be nice.

sushi in this place is really good, service not so much

Yuko Maki is my favorite sushi restaurant in North Vancouver. No other place beats what you get for the price. Their sushi special deal is 3 rolls and a miso soup is very filling. They also have great bento boxes, takoyaki, yakisoba, and udon noodles. The service is always great and they are quick to make the sushi whether you are eating in or taking out.

Affordable and mostly fresh. I wouldn't suggest straying too far off the most popular items or quality might take a dip. Otherwise I like it and go there often.

Super delicious, good portions and super cheap prices! Quite amazing, inari tasted good and the unagi roll was incredibly fresh and it was only under $5! Will visit again!

This is a very very reasonable price Japanese restaurant in North Van. There are lot of dishes and lunch box combo you can choose from, not only cheap but also it’s very delicious, yet potion was big as well. Overall, excellent, staff are nice and food was fast and environment was just perfect, will visit again shortly.

Amazing proportions for a reasonable price! Despite the cheaper prices for this sushi, it's actually very high quality. Fast service, good price, good food. What more do you want from a sushi joint like this?By the way... try the gyoza. It's an appetizer but it's plentiful enough to enjoy on your own.

Reasonable sushi at a reasonable price. There its better sushi available on Lonsdale but Yuko Maki is priced well and has a very flexible 3 item combo that lets you get pretty much anything (within reason) you would want for under $10.

I love coming here or doing take out. yuko maki is my comfort food. they’ve increased the prices a bit but also have improved the quality and portions. but I hope they don’t increase the prices any further, because what I love most about this place is the affordability, especially for their combos.

Good sushi Great prices

Great food. Great service. Great prices.

Sushi portions are large and price is reasonable. Fish box is very deep fried but the fish is light and delicious. Mixed combo allows you to pick your roll from California, BC roll or spicy Tuna. Customer service is below average, they really don’t acknowledge their customers, only fill the tea once and don’t check on you once the food has arrived. Also they brought the food out staggered. I practically finished the sushi combo before the fish box was ready.

The server we had to deal with at the cash was very unprofessional and was actually rude. We experienced unacceptable service (eye rolling etc.) because we asked for a carry-bag and a chopsticks with the "to go" food .. The food is ok IF they get your order right - one roll was forgotten and the other was not what we ordered. The price is the only thing you can count on to be good.

Sushi and size was good. The waiters were rude and unprofessional, expect to eye rolling, sighing, and talking in a rushed and impatient manner. Also when it came time to pay our orders weren't properly divided and had to do it our selves.

The plates were dirty and the serving was very unprofessional! The salmon wasn’t fresh and was brown. One star only for the nice staff!

I thought the sake tasted funny but the rest of the meal was delicious! Prompt service from friendly staff!

Very cheap sushi, tastes great, big portions

Cheap prices but you get what you pay for here. None of the food is very high quality and I think it leaves more to be desired. It could be your go to sushi restaurant in a pinch since you can get a TON of food for under $20. Service is fast but they're not very friendly at all. If you want a better experience, I'd recommend Sushi Katsu.

I would give it a zero star if I could. Very bad customer service! A very rude and grumpy waitress wearing a glasses served me and my friends! The way she served us was just like we owe her something! Firs of all she said why do u order just one meal for each person (non of your business!), second of all she asked for tip! tip me! we were about to consider an amount for her but they way she behaved just changed my mine! I told her it is optional to the customers, you cannot force people to give you a tip! it's not appropriate. I told her I am not satisfied the way you treat us! At the end she said I will remember you face! next time!!!I really didn't get that woman at all! what was wrong with her, I don't know.I would say the restaurant staff need to be friendly and welcoming.

Our to-go place for Sushi in North Van. I always order sushi only from Yuko Maki. Prices are really good - specially their Super Combos. Sushi are always fresh and tasty. Prices are lowest in North Van, service is decent.

My comfort sushi place to go to ...

Their salmon Don or tuna don is the best in the whole Lonsdale . You get what you pay for, they put more fish than rice in the don.
